Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced M365 L3 Engineer to design, implement, and manage enterprise-scale Microsoft 365 environments. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, and Viva Insights, along with strong experience in governance, automation, and large-scale tenant management.
Key Responsibilities
SharePoint & OneDrive
- Design and implement SharePoint Online architecture and OneDrive configurations for large-scale tenants (50K+ users)
- Lead information architecture initiatives, including taxonomy, metadata strategies, content types, and hub site design
- Automate provisioning, lifecycle management, and governance workflows using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API
- Manage storage quotas, sharing policies, external access, and tenant-wide configurations
- Drive adoption of SharePoint Syntex, Viva Connections, and modern SharePoint experiences
Microsoft Teams
- Administer and optimize Microsoft Teams in enterprise environments, including policies, calling plans, and telephony integrations
- Implement governance for Teams lifecycle management (creation, archival, membership, naming conventions)
- Configure and enforce meeting policies, live events, and Teams Rooms/device management
- Integrate Teams with third-party applications, bots, and custom solutions while maintaining security compliance
- Troubleshoot complex issues related to Teams voice, meetings, and federation in collaboration with network and AV teams
Viva Insights
- Deploy and manage Microsoft Viva Insights at the tenant level, including advanced and manager insights
- Collaborate with HR and business stakeholders to deliver privacy-compliant workforce analytics
- Build and maintain queries, dashboards, and organizational data integrations
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA
- Lead adoption and change management initiatives for Viva Insights solutions
Nice to Have
- Experience with enterprise-scale automation and scripting
- Strong understanding of compliance, security, and governance in M365
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (HR, IT, Security, Network, AV)
