Job Title: Data Engineer
Location: Remote
Duration: 7 Months
**working EST hours--8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM**
 
Job Description:

• Data engineer: Databricks Certified, Spark programming, Azure Data Factory, Strong SQL Skills
• Data engineer: Databricks Certified, Spark programming, Azure Data Factory, Strong SQL Skills & BI developer for PowerBI

• Looking for a skilled engineer with extensive experience with Databricks as well as Azure data factory
• They must be able to unit test and have an understanding how to properly system test ensure that the process is capturing all files / transactions which need to be processed
• They will be responsible for moving data from source systems to the Azure data lake for the business to use in reporting
• The engineers will need to know how to work with Unity Catalog and also know how to leverage delta tabels that are managed by databricks

 
Must Haves:
1. Data Brick Exp--3 years or more and should be certified
2. Azure Data Factory --3 years
3. Strong understanding of SQL--5 years
4. Good Verbal communication skills
5. Understanding of Agile process
6. For 2 of the resources, they need to have PowerBI development experience and able to help with performance testing
