Location: Waukegan, IL - Hybrid - 3 days onsite is mandatory

We are looking for a hands-on Azure DevOps Technical Project Manager who combines strong DevOps engineering expertise with project management capabilities.
This role requires active involvement in CI/CD pipeline development, tool administration, and deployment processes, along with ownership of project delivery, stakeholder communication, and compliance adherence.
Top Skills Required:
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Azure DevOps (pipelines, repos, artifacts)
- GitHub (including GitHub Actions)
- Experience in CI/CD pipeline design and troubleshooting
- Hands-on experience with Jira & Confluence administration
- Good understanding of code quality tools (e.g., SonarQube)

Key Responsibilities:
Technical & DevOps Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub
- Manage Azure DevOps repositories, pipelines, and artifacts
- Develop and troubleshoot GitHub Actions workflows
- Integrate and manage code quality tools (e.g., SonarQube) within pipelines
- Collaborate with development teams to resolve build and deployment issues
- Optimize deployment processes for performance and reliability
- Provide technical support for system and software-related issues
- Administer and configure Jira (workflows, boards, permissions)
- Maintain and manage Confluence spaces for documentation and knowledge sharing
- Ensure smooth integration of tools across development and delivery lifecycle
- Oversee project planning and execution. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of cloud services, optimizing workflows and processes.
- Manage stakeholder relationships effectively to ensure clear communication and alignment of project goals.
- Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions to address any deviations from the plan
- Ensure the seamless integration of new software versions/releases using tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Maintain and optimize Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery CICD pipelines using ADO pipeline artifacts and repositories.
- Utilize SonarQube for continuous inspection of code quality and integration into CICD processes.
- Provide technical support to teams and clients addressing system and software-related issues.
- Collaborate with the development and support teams to troubleshoot deployment-related issues and optimize deployment processes.
- Maintain documentation for operational procedures system configurations and best practices using Confluence.
- Manage project timelines, scope, and budgets for tool-related initiatives, delivering projects on schedule.
- Provide risk management strategies to mitigate potential challenges and ensure project success.
- Accountable for ensuring that the Service Transition processes are fully executed.
- Readiness for support transition and serves as escalation point for any delays in service transition. Primary point of accountability with fulfilment of Audit Artifact Service Requests.
- Coordinates with internal compliance team for internal compliance driven audit requests. Govern the application SLC process occurs as scheduled. Provide audit results as needed.
- A strong understanding of technical documentation creation.
- Study existing process documents, SOPs and Knowledge articles.
- Performs summary daily reviews of prior days ticket activity Proficiency in GitHub, particularly in CI/CD pipeline development and troubleshooting workflow issues reported by support groups.
- Ensure regulatory compliance (GxP, FDA) in all tool processes and deliverables
