Job Description
Position Title: Biological Cart Transfer I (2nd Shift)
Work Location: Swiftwater PA, 18370
Assignment Duration: 12 Months
Work Arrangement: Onsite
Position Summary:
• Cart Transfer is the transporting of egg carts to various areas on the manufacturing floor.
• The position includes unloading incubators, transferring eggs, loading of cold boxes, data entry and logging activities.
Background & Context: The role supports manufacturing operations in a biologics production environment for The Organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Able to safely move carts on wheels which may weigh up to 800 pounds
• Must be able to perform all physical requirements, including reaching, twisting, bending, squatting, repetitive motion, and lifting 30+ lbs.
• Good documentation skills
• Be trained to operate the cart washer, load and unload carts, remove and stack egg trays on carts for hatchery pick up on dock
• Support other areas of production as needed
• Must be computer literate
• Good math skills
• Able to read and interpret simple charts on equipment and graphic displays on computers
• Able to follow directions and cGMP Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
Qualification & Experience:
• The ideal candidate for this position is computer literate and skilled with Microsoft Word and Excel, has good math skills, is able to read and interpret simple charts and graphic displays, as well as meeting physical requirements for the position.
• Years of Experience: 0 - 3 Years
