Job Title: iOS DevOps Engineer

About the Role
Client is looking for an experienced iOS DevOps Engineer to support their mobile engineering team. The role focuses on build automation, CI/CD workflows, and improving iOS development processes. You will work closely with developers, QA, and platform teams to ensure smooth, scalable, and high-quality mobile application releases.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Manage and scale GitLab macOS runners for high-volume iOS build automation
• Implement and optimize Fastlane, App Store Connect API integrations, and code signing automation
• Support logging, crash reporting, and analytics tools (e.g., Crashlytics)
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
• Improve Xcode build processes and developer productivity
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, QA, platform)
• Participate in mobile DevOps initiatives and leverage open-source tools
• Explore and support GenAI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) for development efficiency

 
Required Skills & Experience

• Strong iOS development experience with Swift, SwiftUI, and Objective-C
• Deep understanding of Xcode build systems and iOS architecture
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and pipeline integration
• Knowledge of logging, crash reporting, and analytics tools (e.g., Crashlytics)
• Exposure to mobile DevOps tools and open-source ecosystem (preferred)
• Familiarity with modern developer tools, including AI-assisted coding tools

 
Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
