Location: Barceloneta, PR
Pay Rate: $13.46 / Hourly
Shifts: Ability and willingness to work any shift in support of operations that may include 24/7. Availability to work non-standard shifts (1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift), 12 hours shifts, holidays, weekends, as per business needs.

Purpose:
The primary purpose of this position is to ensure the quality of the pharmaceutical product (Drug Product) and the manufacturing process. Also, to make sure raw materials and commodities used are of the expected quality. Receive, sample and test materials as per specifications. Perform in-process testing in the manufacturing/packaging areas.

Responsibilities:

• Perform samplings and testing in manufacturing, packaging, or IQA, and deliver samples to the laboratory as required.
• Perform the necessary documentation and system transactions (SAP, POMs, LIMS) in accordance with procedures.
• Perform line clearance or verification, and carry out cleaning activities as established in local procedures.
• Perform daily checks on instruments and equipment.
• Handle file and stability samples.
• Place materials on hold status when required.
• Handle and deliver printed materials to the packaging areas.
• Perform tasks as assigned based on identified business area needs.
• Provide assistance to operations in accordance with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) systems, and promote continuous improvement. Comply with all EHS procedures and policies, including incident reporting, use of PPE, waste management and disposal, and any other applicable programs based on position duties.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Associate Degree in Science or related field
• Computer skills proficiency including word processing, spreadsheets, instrumentation related and network systems.
• Previous knowledge of GMP regulations and standards affecting pharmaceutical products is desired.
• Verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish. Excellent interpersonal skills. Basic math skills.
