Job Title: Supply Chain Data Analyst (AI & Operations) Duration: 9+ Months Location: North Reading, MA (Onsite)
Overview: We are seeking a data-driven Supply Chain Analyst to support the development of dashboards, reporting tools, and AI-enabled workflows that enhance operational efficiency and decision-making. This role works cross-functionally with product, sourcing, planning, engineering, and finance teams to drive supply chain initiatives. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical skills with foundational supply chain knowledge to support execution, improve visibility, and optimize processes across the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports using Excel, BI tools (Power BI/Tableau), and internal systems to track key supply chain KPIs such as lead time, cost, supplier readiness, and shortages
Develop and optimize AI-enabled workflows to automate repetitive tasks, standardize reporting, and improve team productivity
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sourcing, planning, logistics, engineering, finance) to communicate supply chain status, risks, and program updates
Support cost reduction initiatives and lead time optimization by tracking total cost of ownership and performance metrics
Perform root cause analysis and support post-launch design changes (ECOs) and continuous improvement initiatives
Enhance reporting frameworks and identify opportunities for process optimization and scalability
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Information Systems, or related field
1+ years of experience in supply chain, operations, or data analytics roles
Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, advanced formulas, data modeling)
Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau
Ability to analyze and synthesize data into actionable insights
Experience building dashboards or reporting tools for stakeholders
Strong communication skills with ability to present data to non-technical audiences
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with AI tools, automation platforms, or workflow optimization
3+ years of experience in supply chain, analytics, or operations
Knowledge of SQL, Python, or advanced data analysis tools
Understanding of supply chain concepts (lead time, cost optimization, supplier performance)
Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP) or PLM tools
Background in robotics, manufacturing, or tech-driven supply chains
Experience supporting NPI (New Product Introduction) or large-scale programs
Proven ability to identify inefficiencies and implement scalable solutions
Strong attention to detail with a continuous improvement mindset
