Location: Remote

Description:
- Responsible for executing end-to-end training design, development, trainer enablement, measurement, and in some cases, delivery of training activities supporting the assigned workstream (Finance).
- Instructional Designers play a key role in identifying training requirements in assigned workstreams and cross-functionally that will aid in end-user adoption through training deliverables in the Utility integration and in future ERP transformation teams and business change teams.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with Functional Change Specialist and Functional Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to conduct training needs analysis and define training needs in stakeholder groups.
- Designs learning objectives for training courses/learning activities and creates storyboards.
- Recommends appropriate delivery mechanisms.
- Collaborates with SMEs, project leads, and change specialists to design, develop, implement, evaluate, and revise curriculum and learning resources that are aligned with program goals and are aimed at delivering knowledge of the new processes and systems to end users, including material changes to existing ERP Release training artifacts, as well as net new training artifacts.
- Creates and maintains a detailed development design plan using the ADDIE process.
- Manages timeline for SME review and input to maintain development schedule.
- Performs quality control of other ID’s work.
- Delivers train-the-trainer sessions with business unit trainers and functional team trainers in preparation for delivery.
- Serves as a resource during training sessions for trainers.
- Revises training as needed during initial feedback/pilot training to close any learning gaps.
- Highlights areas of risks/dependencies and constraints to Training Lead; recommends mitigations.
- Conducts knowledge transfer and transition activities in functions and the company’s learning organization to support the sustainment approach.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Adult Education, Instructional Design, Information and Learning Technologies, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of five years’ experience in training needs analysis, designing, developing, and evaluating curriculum, learning activities, and resources for web-based training/computer-based training, instructor-led classroom and virtual training, and on-the-job practice activities.
- Knowledge and/or experience with designing and developing training material in the subject of Finance.
- Comprehensive knowledge of current adult learning theories, ADDIE principles, program design strategies, technologies, trends, and best practices applicable to both online and instructor-led learning programs.
- Proven ability in designing and writing course materials, activities and exercises, assessments, and job aids.
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills to communicate with a broad range of audiences one-on-one and in a group setting, make presentations, and write clear, concise learning materials geared to the target audience.
- Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with OCM Leads, training counterparts, Change Management Specialists, Business Unit Change Teams, Subject Matter Experts, and Training Logistics Coordinator.
- Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be agile and willing to take initiative.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on an ERP project or other large transformation project involving SAP, Maximo, and Oracle Cloud.
- Knowledge of Oracle Cloud (Finance Modules).
- Experience in assessment and measurement of training needs specific to changes in business processes and systems.
- Ability to understand impacts to end-users experiencing changes in functional processes, including challenges with learning new applications.
- Extensive experience using Articulate 360 (Storyline and/or Rise), PowerPoint, and Word.
- Experience with creating animated videos using Vyond, using Camtasia for screen recordings, and using ClipChamp for video editing would be ideal
