Position Summary: Manager level role for International FP&A
Background & Context:
- Traditional FPA
- Forecasting, analysis, expert in excel, ERPs, and forecasting tools (The Organization uses OneStream, doesn’t have to be expert in OneStream, any forecasting tool)
- Ability to interact with team members
- 5-10 years exp, leaning towards 10
- SAP
- Healthcare / pharma/ device/ manufactured products not services
- Consolidating international markets - Europe, Asia
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead R&D, Corporate Regulatory and Global Finance budgeting and forecasting processes as well as manage associated reporting and analytics.
- Manage (individually or jointly) all financial aspects of EU MDR.
- Collaborate with all functional leaders to drive forecasting accuracy, improved processes and strategic decision making.
- Support continuous improvements throughout corporate functions – alignment and standardization of reports, dashboards and KPIs (ROI).
- Drive monthly and quarterly P&L flash and commentary for supported functions and report accordingly.
- Drive Quarterly portfolio reviews from a finance perspective as well as Total Company R&D budget in partnership with commercial teams.
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of monthly/quarterly actuals including accruals and closely monitoring spending trends.
- Assist senior management with ah-hoc/special projects to support strategic decision-making.
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
- 7+ years of relevant experience in Finance and/or Accounting roles including Financial Planning and Analysis and/or Budgeting.
- Strong Excel skills and proven facility in financial modeling required.
- Detail oriented; strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills in conjunction with the ability to interact with all levels in the organization are a must.
- Experience with multidimensional databases such as Hyperion, BPC or TM1 is a plus.
