Position Title: Business Analytics Analyst
Work Location: Remote
Assignment Duration: 9 Months
Work Arrangement: Remote
Position Summary:
As an Associate Business Analyst, you will be an integral part of our team in analyzing business processes, interpreting data, documenting business requirements, and supporting strategic decision-making.
You will work closely with stakeholders, both internal and external, to identify opportunities for improvement, develop actionable insights, and support the implementation of solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Critical Thinking and Problem Solving:
• Assist in identifying and understanding underlying issues impacting organizational performance.
• Support stakeholders by providing clear and accurate information to aid decision-making.
• Learn and apply problem-solving techniques to help address challenges and opportunities effectively.
• Requirements Management:
• Learn and use requirements management tools and methodologies to ensure alignment with project goals and maintain traceability from business needs to final outcomes.
• Gain familiarity with industry standard project management tools.
• Develop basic skills in system analysis techniques to document system requirements, use cases, and workflows.
• Assist in creating visual prototypes, wireframes, and mock-ups using tools to communicate requirements and validate solutions with stakeholders.
• Data Analysis & Interpretation:
• Learn and maintain data analysis tools and techniques, including SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Develop skills in creating data visualizations to help convert raw data into meaningful insights for decision-making.
• Business Process Modeling:
• Support the documentation and representation of business processes to aid in analysis and improvement efforts.
• Assist in mapping and analyzing business processes, identifying inefficiencies, and suggesting improvements.
• Collaboration & Communication:
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, internal and external, at various levels of the organization.
• Practice active listening, asking clarifying questions, and summarizing information accurately.
• Learn to explain technical concepts in simple terms, particularly when engaging with individuals who have varying levels of technical knowledge.
Qualification & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, or a related field, and 1 year of experience, OR 5 years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• Familiarity with business process modeling techniques and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
• Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
• Basic understanding of business analysis principles and methodologies is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and experience with data analysis tools is preferred.
