Overview

• Client  is seeking a proactive, highly organized Project Manager to lead a short term project supporting access changes associated with retiring functionality within internal applications. This project supports HR and Security teams as they transition users off the legacy system and implement new access workflows in March–April.
• This role requires someone who can quickly establish structure, organize stakeholders, and drive readiness activities. The PM will not need technical knowledge of the custom-built applications, but must be comfortable coordinating across HR, Security, and various cross functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the day to day Project Manager for the access retirement effort.
• Apply structure, organization, and planning to a project currently being supported by senior leaders with limited bandwidth.
• Manage timelines, deliverables, risks, and issues; escalate as needed.
• Coordinate closely with HR, Security, and technical teams to track progress and ensure alignment.
• Lead Organizational Readiness activities, including stakeholder communications, change management tasks, and identifying training needs.
• Support development and organization of training sessions for impacted users.
• Facilitate cross functional meetings with business stakeholders and program directors.
• Partner with technical SMEs for system impacts; no custom application knowledge required.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, Smartsheet trackers, slides, and status reports.
• Drive execution to meet the March/April transition timeline.

 
Required Skills & Experience

• Prior experience as an IT or business project manager.
• Proven ability to organize complex workstreams and drive execution independently.
• Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Self starter who works ahead of the team to manage risks and issues.

Experience with:

• -Smartsheets
• -Google Sheets & Google Slides
• -Google Suite collaboration tools
• Familiarity with ServiceNow is helpful (not required).
• Ability to work with cross functional groups, connect dependencies, and structure work.
• PMI or PMP certification preferred, not required.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree preferred OR equivalent relevant experience.
