Job Description

Job Title: Software Developer V
Duration: 3 Months – most likely to extend
Locations: Hybrid – WA: Bellevue, Redmond, or Seattle.
Summary:
  • The main function of a Developer is to design, develop, and implement applications using general languages and technologies (e.g. - C#, C++, HTML) to support business requirements.
Top 3 must-have HARD skills:
  • Deep experience in developing software tools delivered via the web (experience in Meta environment is a big plus) and proficiency in programming languages - JavaScript, Hack.
  • Desire to work in a first-generation software tool that carries ambiguity.
  • Understanding user-centered design principles and how to create user-friendly interfaces is crucial for frontend development.
Good to have skills:
  • Prior examples of problem solving, breaking down complex problems into smaller parts.
  • Understanding how to design software systems, including knowledge of architectural patterns and best practices.
  • Understanding automated builds and deployments.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Analyze highly complex business requirements; generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications.
  • Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation, and analysis efforts.
  • Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement and support a solution.
  • Assure quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area.
  • Be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment.
  • Adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive manner.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required.
  • Development experience in needed language or technology (e.g. - C#, C++, HTML)
  • Hands on experience in designing, developing and successful deployment of large-scale projects from end-to-end.
  • Hands on experience in following the iterative and agile SDLC.
Interview Process:
  • 3 Rounds: technical, manager screening, and behavioral.
