Key Responsibilities

• Lead the evolution of project accounting from transactional support to strategic business partnership.
• Build scalable, standardized processes across project setup, billing, reporting, and financial controls.
• Establish KPIs, dashboards, and analytics frameworks that enable real-time visibility into project performance.
• Partner closely with Project Managers, Operations, and Finance to elevate overall project profitability and financial accuracy.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing team committed to excellence and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including 3+ years in leadership roles.
• Demonstrated success building or expanding a project accounting function.
• Strong understanding of revenue recognition, project controls, and project lifecycle financials.
• ERP expertise—Deltek strongly preferred—with the ability to design and enhance reporting structures.
