Position: Full Stack Engineer
Duration: Direct Hire
Location: Remote (Mexico City)

Overview of the Job

The open position at client is for a Full-Stack Engineer. This role involves building scalable, high-reliability software for go-to-market (GTM) and product teams. You'll handle end-to-end development, from backend to frontend, while collaborating with engineers, data scientists, and product leaders. The job is based in Mexico City (CDMX) with a hybrid work model, meaning a mix of in-office and remote work.
Client is an AI company focused on helping B2B product and service companies grow profitably by integrating telemetry and operational data from various sources (like product analytics, CRMs, support systems) to power prescriptive AI. Their tools improve customer experiences, adoption, operations, and unit economics.

What They're Looking For
The company is seeking someone with solid experience in web application development who can contribute to building features, APIs, and integrations. Here's a breakdown:
Key Responsibilities
· Build and deploy complete features with a focus on correctness, performance, and maintainability, under senior engineer guidance.
· Create modern, accessible user interfaces using shared components and design patterns.
· Develop and extend secure APIs, mainly in Python, and integrate with internal/third-party systems via OAuth, webhooks, or workflows.
· Work with databases (relational, like Postgres/MySQL, and NoSQL), including writing efficient queries and data modeling.
· Adhere to security, data protection, and compliance standards.
· Join on-call rotations, debug production issues, and perform root-cause analysis.
· Contribute to documentation and team knowledge sharing.

Basic Qualifications (Required)
· At least 3 years of experience building production web applications.
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
· Frontend skills in JavaScript/TypeScript; preference for Vue.js.
· Backend experience with Python (preferred) or alternatives like Node.js, Java, or C#.
· Building APIs using frameworks like FastAPI, Flask, or Django REST Framework.
· Knowledge of relational databases and query optimization.
· Familiarity with RESTful API design and auth patterns (e.g., OAuth, JWT).
· Exposure to cloud-native practices like Docker and CI/CD.
· Strong communication and collaboration skills.
· Professional proficiency in English.

Preferred Qualifications (Bonus)
· Experience with GenAI integrations (e.g., OpenAI, Claude) or interest in applied AI.
· Hands-on with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
· Familiarity with ETL/ELT pipelines or data-heavy apps.
· Knowledge of security practices like secrets management and least-privilege access.
· Experience in hybrid or distributed teams.
