Job Description

Position Title: Operations Officer II - Bilingual
Duration: 1 year
Training Period: 6 months
Location (required): Montréal, Québec, H2R 3A4 (Hybrid- 4 days on site, training could be 5 days onsite)
Hours of Operation:  8 am to 4:30 pm – Mon to Friday

Summary of Day-To-Day Responsibilities:
  • Wire payments: Money movement, Electronic transfer, Visa money transfers
  • Training- sitting and observing, reading policy and procedures.
  • Will do some transfers and merchant searches.
  • Engaging managers if support is needed.
  • Could be cross trained w/ multiple tasks. Some tasks will need to be done onsite.
  • Variety of different tasks- will need to be a quick learner and do different tasks.
Admin/Clerical Only:
  • Back-office vs Telephone work: no phone work- back office work only.
Candidate Profile Details:
  • Degree/Certifications Required: Bachelor's is preferred
  • Years of Overall Experience: 1 to 2 years
Must Have Hard Skills:
  • Bilingual- verbal/written
  • Conflict resolution
  • Independently
  • Positive attitude
  • Tech savvy- excel experience – pivot tables, data entry, formulas
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Understanding of risk and impact
  • Following procedures
  • Strong initiative
Preferred Candidate Background:
  • Co – pilot/ AI experience knowledge/ exp would be a nice to have.
  • Bilingual- verbal/written

  • How will performance be measured: compliance report, production is measured
