Why we need you
We’re looking for talented senior learning designers who can lead complex projects, manage diverse stakeholder relationships, and use strong instructional design skills to turn great content into exceptional learning experiences. You will transform raw content into engaging, comprehensive courses while managing multiple projects, timelines, and team dynamics.
 
What you’ll do

• Lead projects from idea to launch
  • Own content deployment projects end to end—from scoping and planning to final delivery.
  • Build and manage project plans, timelines, and milestones across multiple simultaneous courses.
  • Track progress, anticipate risks, and keep projects on schedule and within scope.
• Manage clients and stakeholders
  • Lead discovery and migration calls to understand client goals and define project requirements.
  • Maintain clear, proactive communication with clients, sharing updates and incorporating feedback.
  • Coordinate and mentor instructional designers and authors, fostering strong collaboration with subject matter experts and internal teams.
• Shape learning experiences and strategy
  • Analyze source material and learner needs to define objectives and content strategy.
  • Design engaging, structured courses and interactive lessons using our templates and learning principles.
  • Refine, rephrase, and organize content to be concise, clear, and aligned with learning outcomes.
  • Review and quality-check course drafts and final versions to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to Sana’s standards.
• Champion quality and best practices
  • Become fluent in Sana’s design principles, tools, and ways of working.
  • Coach authors on instructional design best practices and content quality.

What you’ll need to succeed

• 6+ years of experience in instructional design, learning design, education, course development, curriculum design, or LMS administration
• Experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Sana AI, etc.) for content development
• Intermediate skills in prompt engineering
• Solid experience leading end-to-end learning or content projects, including juggling multiple initiatives at once
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with a track record of working directly with clients and cross-functional teams
• Experience running discovery or learning needs analysis and turning insights into clear course designs and plans
• High attention to detail and quality when reviewing learning materials
• Experience mentoring or guiding other instructional designers or authors
• Ability to track progress, manage risks, and keep projects on time
• Comfortable managing competing priorities and maintaining high standards under pressure
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• If bilingual, excellent verbal and written communication skills in your additional language
• Excellent technical writing and storytelling abilities
• Excellent project coordination and organizational skills
• A growth mindset and openness to feedback and iteration
