Job Description
Position Title: Manufacturing Technician I
Work Location: 9043 Siempre Viva Road San Diego CA USA 92154
Assignment Duration: 6 Months
Work Schedule: 8am-430pm Work Arrangement: onsite
Position Summary: Responsible for performing service repair (i.e. testing, verifications and calibrations) of electronic equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and decontaminate instruments and ancillary equipment returned from customer sites.
- Prepare and maintain required service documentation.
- Performs service, maintenance, testing, calibration and verifications of instruments following outlined procedures.
- Specifies, requests, and maintains spare part inventory.
- Performs other related duties as required.
- Monitor calibration status of equipment
Qualification & Experience:
- AA or Technical Training School
- Lean Training with a focus on continuous improvement
- 1-2 Years related experience
- Microsoft Office Skills
- Experience with ERP and CRM systems
- Working knowledge of schematics
- Basic knowledge of standard laboratory procedures, tools and biohazard precautions.
- cGMP and ISO exposure, knowledge and experience
- Able to demonstrate sound problem-solving skills and use of judgement/decision making ability
- Strong attention to detail
- Good organizational skills
- Display a sense of urgency and ability to multi-task

- Sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- Stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Lifting/moving and carrying products weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts, vibration and/or moderate noise levels.
- Exposure to hazardous chemicals or other materials.
- Safety Shoes with Impact and Compression Protection Must be worn.
- Exposure to blood.
