Job Description
Job Title: Business Systems Analyst
Location: 100% Remote
Contract Duration: 6+ months
Role Overview
The Business Systems Analyst will support process improvement and system integration efforts by analyzing business requirements and coordinating with technical teams. This role focuses on managing contract submissions, tracking status, and handling administrative tasks related to purchase orders (POs) and technical assessments. While some familiarity with Imaging IT is helpful, it is not required.
Key Responsibilities
• Gather and document requirements from business units and translate them for developers and technical teams.
• Prepare cost-benefit and ROI analyses to support system implementation decisions.
• Coordinate and link computer systems within the organization to ensure compatibility and information sharing.
• Manage contract submission processes, monitor status updates, and ensure timely completion.
• Handle administrative paperwork for POs and technical assessments.
• Communicate with clients and stakeholders to clarify information processing needs.
Required Skills & Competencies
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Basic understanding of design principles and techniques.
• Familiarity with common software tools (e.g., Visual Basic, SQL).
Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field required.
• Prior experience in business systems analysis or related role is a plus.
Preferred Knowledge
• Understanding of Imaging IT (helpful but not mandatory).
