Job Title: Program / Business Analyst – Funding & Booking Operations
Duration: 12–14 Months Contract possibility of extension and conversion
Location: Mississauga, Ontario, L4W 0A9 (2-4 days onsite/ week (Mandatory Wednesday, no negotiation)
Role OverviewThis role supports the management and execution of assigned business/group programs or projects, including providing input into design, development, and execution. The position supports execution of program components by working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective and seamless delivery. The role also leads the offshore Funding & Booking operations, overseeing quality of deliverables, operational efficiencies, and overall coordination.

Program & Project Execution
- Supports the management and execution of assigned business/group programs or projects.
- Provides input into the planning and implementation of operational programs.
- Supports the management of program/project components, including development, promotion, and execution.
- Participates in the design, development, implementation, and management of core program processes.
- Supports execution of strategic initiatives, including tracking metrics and milestones.
- Works independently on a range of complex tasks, including unique situations.
- Leads and coordinates offshore contractors supporting Booking and Funding functions in an operations environment.
- Supports BAU loan booking and funding functions.
- Monitors and tracks performance, addressing issues as they arise.
- Builds effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensures alignment between stakeholders and business objectives.
- Collaborates with internal and external partners to deliver on business goals.
- Leads or participates in defining communication plans designed to influence or change behavior.
- Develops tailored messaging and identifies appropriate distribution channels.
- Communicates and reinforces program principles, strategies, processes, and standards.
- Develops solutions and makes recommendations based on business strategy and stakeholder needs.
- Helps determine business priorities and optimal sequencing of execution.
- Conducts independent analysis and assessment to resolve strategic issues.
- Breaks down complex strategic problems and analyzes data to provide insights and recommendations.
- Provides input to program strategy by analyzing current operations, challenges, best practices, and industry trends.
- Analyzes data and information to generate program insights and recommendations.
- Builds and supports change management plans of varying scope and type.
- Participates in readiness assessments, planning, stakeholder management, execution, evaluation, and sustainment activities.
- Supports change management tasks focused on execution and sustainment.
- Provides support for investigation, analysis, and documentation of program risks.
- Organizes work information to ensure accuracy and completeness (e.g., exception reports, initiative tracking reports).
- Gathers and formats data into regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards.
- Tracks exception requests and corresponding approvals.
- Focus is primarily on a specific business/group within BMO, with potential broader enterprise-wide impact.
- Exercises judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within established guidelines.
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
Education & Experience
- Typically 4–6 years of relevant experience and post-secondary education in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prior leadership experience is preferred.
- Technical proficiency gained through education and/or business experience.
