Job Title: Business Analyst
Location Address: 250 Vesey Street 23-24 FL – onsite once a week
Duration: Till 10/30/2026, Possibility of extension and conversion to FTE
Schedule Hours: 9am-5pm Monday-Friday; standard 37.5 hrs/week (Possible OT)

Global Banking & Markets provides a full range of investment banking, credit and risk management products and services relevant to the financing and strategic development needs of our clients. Our products include debt and equity financing, mergers & acquisitions, corporate banking, institutional equity sales, trading and research, fixed income products, derivatives, energy, foreign exchange and metals. We also cross-sell the full range of wholesale products and services offered by the client Group.
 
The Business Solutions & Initiatives team is tasked with the implementation of strategic business initiatives for GTB Finance. Provide inputs on overall cross business best practices, process improvements and architecture.
 
The successful candidate will be responsible for testing the debit/credit accounting logic for a new business line (Global Transaction Banking – US).

Typical Day in Role:
• Testing the accounting logic for the Oracle ledger system (PeopleSoft, OFSAA, FAH)
• Interaction with the finance IT team to explain requirements and pressure test scalability of the business
• explaining test results and requirements to the finance users
• Document test plans and results and any new requirements that arise from testing
• regular interaction with finance management and wider project team
 
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
1) 10+ years of experience as a BA
2) 8+ years of testing experience (test planning, execution, sign-off)
3) Hands-on experience with Oracle ledger system (PeopleSoft, OFSAA, FAH)
4) 5+ years of experience with accounting methodology within the banking industry
5) Strong proficiency with Excel (v-look ups, Pivot Tables, etc.)
 
Nice-To-Have Skills:
1) Bilingual in Spanish
2) Alteryx/PowerBI skills
 
Soft Skills Required:
• strong self-starter
• strong communication skills
• detail oriented
 
Education: Post-Secondary degree/diploma in accounting/finance or related field.
 
Best VS. Average Candidate: The ideal candidate would have very strong testing experience within Oracle and would be bilingual in Spanish.
