Job Description

Job Title:  HWE Planning & Operations Program Manager (Real Estate & Headcount)
Location: Austin TX 78729(Hybrid)
Duration: 11+  Months 


Summary
We’re looking for a process-minded Program Manager to streamline and improve how Hardware Engineering plans and manages headcount, labor, and workspace needs. You’ll build scalable processes, improve forecasting accuracy, and partner across teams to ensure resources and space align with business demand.
 
Primary Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain headcount, labor, and space forecasting models.
  • Identify process gaps and implement efficient, repeatable workflows.
  • Lead cross-functional projects, driving timelines, coordination, and delivery.
  • Analyze workforce and space data to produce clear recommendations.
  • Build dashboards and reports that support day-to-day operational planning.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of program management experience 
  • Experience managing multi-stakeholder operational programs.
  • Strong process improvement and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency with data and business intelligence tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Real Estate, Workplace Strategy, or Headcount/Labor Planning.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
Hardware Engineering Team – Role Overview & Requirements:Team Overview
  • Hardware engineering team supporting labor and asset management.
  • Covers growth and strategic initiatives within hardware engineering.
Responsible for data and analytics, including:
  • Headcount forecasting
  • Workspace management
  • Supports various operations initiatives.
Collaboration & Engagement:
  • High engagement with cross-functional teams.
  • Close work with workspace management and operational partners.
Role Requirements:
  • Project Manager or Program Manager experience.
  • Ability to drive process improvement and optimization.
  • Skills in building dashboards and presenting insights.
Key Skills:
  • Process-minded
  • Ability to analyze current processes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements
  • Comfortable working with large datasets
  • Strong ability to communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Tools & Experience:
  • Tableau familiarity required (reports are pulled from Tableau).
  • Understanding of the project lifecycle.
  • Business-minded thinking.
  • Engineering background or technical understanding is helpful.
