Job Description

Title: Project Manager
Duration: 12 Months (Possible extension)
Location: Remote – local to ATO to come onsite as needed preferable
 
Top 3 Must Have Skill Sets:
  • Experience with Organizational Change Management (OCM)
  • Experience with AI and the use of automation
  • Proven Agile Delivery & Project Leadership experience
 
Key Responsibilities: Agile Delivery & Project Leadership
  • Lead Agile ceremonies (planning, reviews, retrospectives, stand-ups) and ensure teams operate with strong discipline, transparency, and continuous improvement.
  • Build and maintain detailed project plans, sprint schedules, work breakdown structures, and task assignments.
  • Track progress against key milestones, escalating timeline, resource, or quality concerns to the Portfolio Manager as needed.
  • Implement and refine project management processes and frameworks that improve consistency, predictability, and speed of delivery.
 
Organizational Change Management (OCM):
  • Develop and execute change management plans to drive engagement, adoption, and readiness across impacted teams.
  • Assess stakeholder needs, manage communication plans, and anticipate resistance points before they escalate.
  • Support leaders in navigating organizational impacts and aligning the workforce to new digital capabilities.
 
Digital Tool Enabled Practices:
  • Leverage digital tools to automate reporting, enhance communication, streamline documentation, and accelerate decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities where digital can improve delivery efficiency, team productivity, or problem-solving velocity.
  • Guide teams on responsible and effective digital adoption within project workflows.
 
Team Collaboration & Communication:
  • Serve as the connective tissue across technical, business, and leadership teams—ensuring consistent, clear communication.
  • Manage recurring meeting cadences, agendas, facilitation, notes, and follow-up actions.
  • Provide timely updates, dashboards, and insights to the Portfolio Manager, Product Owner(s), and leadership.
 
Strategic Partnership:
  • Collaborate with senior business partners to prioritize initiatives that propel enterprise-level digital and transformation goals.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities early—and recommend solutions that keep programs advancing.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and experimentation across the delivery ecosystem.
 
Day-to-Day Activities:
  • Develop and execute continuous improvement processes for Agile teams.
  • Communicate program status, risks, and insights to leadership.

  • Build and maintain project plans, timelines, backlog items, and cross-team tasks.
  • Use digital tools to streamline reporting, documentation, communication, and data synthesis.
  • Partner with Product Owners on prioritization, resource planning, and stakeholder engagement.
 
Basic Qualifications
Doctorate degree
OR
Master’s degree and 2 years of experience
OR
Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of experience
OR
Associate’s degree and 8 years of experience
OR
High school diploma / GED and 10 years of experience
