Position Title: Service Technician
Work Location: 9043 Siempre Viva Road, San Diego, CA, USA 92154
Assignment Duration: 5 Months
Work Arrangement: Onsite
Position Summary: Responsible for performing testing, verifications and calibrations of electronic equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Clean and decontaminate instruments and ancillary equipment returned from customer sites
• Prepare required service documentation
• Performs maintenance, testing, calibration and decontamination on a variety of instruments following outlined procedures
• Maintains service documentation
• Specifies, requests, and maintains spare part inventory
• Performs other related duties as required.
• Monitor calibration status of equipment
Qualification & Experience:
• AA or Technical Training School
• Lean Training with a focus on continuous improvement
• 1-2 Years related experience
• Microsoft Office Skills
• Experience with ERP and CRM systems
• Working knowledge of schematics
• Basic knowledge of standard laboratory procedures, tools and biohazard precautions.
• cGMP and ISO exposure, knowledge and experience
• Able to demonstrate sound problem-solving skills and use of judgement/decision making ability
• Strong attention to detail
• Good organizational skills
• Display a sense of urgency and ability to multi-task

• Sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
• Stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Lifting/moving and carrying products weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Exposure to moving mechanical parts, vibration and/or moderate noise levels.
• Exposure to hazardous chemicals or other materials.
• Safety Shoes with Impact and Compression Protection Must be worn.
• Exposure to blood.
