Duration: Direct hire, FTE
Work Model: Hybrid (4 days onsite)
Salary Range: Target $192k with 15% bonus and $20K is RSUs
Interview Process:
First round- Virtual interview with HM
Second round- Virtual interview with Senior Tax Director
Third round- In person/in office visit with the team. Meeting with VP of Tax as well as the hiring manager and Senior Manager.
Job Summary

The position manages the company’s income tax accounting, ensures accurate U.S. GAAP reporting, supports tax-related decision-making, and oversees a small team of tax professionals.

Essential Job Duties
Tax Provision & Financial Reporting
- Prepare and support quarterly and annual U.S. GAAP tax provision calculations (ASC 740) filed with the SEC.
- Maintain and update the detailed inventory of deferred tax assets/liabilities and uncertain tax positions.
- Review and maintain balance sheet tax accounts and reconcile tax-related accounts.
- Assist with tax accounting methods and evaluate their impact on financial reporting.
- Develop effective tax rate reconciliations and tax cash-flow support for management.
- Monitor new tax legislation, regulations, audits, and book/tax differences.
- Interpret tax law and advise management on relevant legislative changes.
- Support SOX compliance and ensure adherence to internal controls.
- Identify and implement improvements in tax processes, systems, and tax automation initiatives.
- Work with tools such as OneSource Provision, Bloomberg/CCH/Checkpoint, and Oracle ERP (preferred).
- Manage domestic and international post-acquisition tax integration.
- Determine tax entries for U.S. GAAP purchase accounting (ASC 805).
- Assist with transfer pricing documentation and policy monitoring.
- Lead tax accounting–related special projects.
- Supervise and manage a team of tax professionals.
- Oversee workload distribution, project scheduling, performance reviews, training, coaching, hiring, and corrective actions.
- Bachelor’s Degree
- CPA certification
- 10+ years of income tax experience (public accounting or large multi-national)
- 3+ years managing staff and tax accounting projects
- Strong understanding of ASC 740, ASC 805, and U.S./international tax rules
- Master’s Degree
- Experience with OneSource, tax research software, and Oracle ERP
- Strong Excel and financial calculation skills
- Ability to build and maintain complex tax models
- Strong cross-functional communication abilities
- Able to solve complex, varied tax accounting problems
- Able to set departmental priorities and make decisions impacting functional operations
