Job Description
Position Title: Pharmacy Technician 2
Work Location: Remote-MO, CA, TX, FL
Assignment Duration: 5 Months, Possible extension
Work Schedule: 8am- 6pm
Work Arrangement: Remote
Position Summary: Work with the Pharmacists to accurately prepare prescription orders in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
• Reorders
• Good Teamwork and open communication
• verifying rules for the state for reorders
• contact physician’s offices for refills and prescriptions.
• New business and new system coming
• New technology adoption
• No OT expectations
• Interaction with team members/physician offices
• Phone time
Qualification & Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of pharmacy technician or medical office (i.e. biller, coder, office assistance, or prior authorization/certification) experience.
• Familiarity with drugs commonly used to treat chronic/debilitating illnesses.
• State pharmacy technician license(s) relative to where the employee and assigned pharmacy are located (exception being NY where a pharmacy technician license is not required). License is required upon hire.
