Position: Drone Pilot - Flight Support Assistant
Location: Tolleson AZ
Duration: 11 Months

Our tech-giant client is seeking an experienced Flight Support Assistant to join their advanced air operations team.


Key Job Responsibilities

The Flight Support Assistant will work closely with crew members. Candidates must be self-driven and responsible. Duties include:

  • Assisting in crew briefings, mission planning, and performing critical roles in field operations

  • Ensuring a safe operational environment


Export Control Licensing

This position may require a deemed export control license to comply with applicable laws and regulations. Placement is contingent upon the company’s ability to apply for and obtain this license on your behalf.


Physical Requirements

  • Lifting: Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. of equipment, including drones, batteries, and related gear

  • Bending & Flexibility: May involve bending, squatting, and related movements during setup or maintenance

  • Standing: Ability to stand for extended periods during drone setup, takeoff, and landing

  • Climbing Ladders: May be required to climb ladders or platforms for inspections or maintenance

  • Visual Acuity: Strong visual ability to detect obstacles, hazards, or environmental changes during operations


FAA Safety Requirements

As a company regulated by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), employees performing safety-sensitive duties must comply with FAA drug and alcohol testing regulations. This includes:

  • Pre-employment testing

  • Random drug and alcohol testing

  • Post-accident or incident testing

  • Reasonable-suspicion testing

Compliance with FAA regulations is essential for ensuring the safety of employees, customers, and the public.
