Job Title: Project Coordinator
Work Location: SeaTac, WA
Assignment Duration: 12 Months
Department: Airport Operations – PMO
Reports To: Project Manager & Director, PMO Airport Operations
Note:
- Minimum requirements: 1–2 years of experience as a coordinator, project manager, or related
- Desired qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent and bachelor’s degree
- Remote/hybrid/onsite: Pacific time zone required, hybrid preferred, remote OK
- Top 4 skills: Organization, active negotiation, written and verbal communication, collaboration
The Project Coordinator is a key member of the Airport Operations PMO team and plays an essential role in supporting the delivery of projects of varying size and complexity. This position is responsible for organizing, documenting, and controlling project activities under the direction of the Project Manager and the Director of the PMO. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Project Coordination & Documentation
- Manage and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including tracking, logging, and reporting on project deliverables.
- Prepare and develop project-related documents using Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Edit, proofread, and format written communications to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with organizational standards.
- Capture key project information and maintain accurate and concise records.
- Schedule, set up, and coordinate project meetings.
- Attend regular team meetings and document key discussions.
- Prepare and distribute meeting minutes and action item summaries in a timely manner.
- Assist with SharePoint content management and site administration.
- Help identify, track, and monitor project risks and issues, providing input on potential solutions when appropriate.
Technical Skills
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office Professional Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Project.
- Familiarity with SharePoint administration is strongly preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational, documentation, and time-management abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to support and collaborate with multiple teams effectively.
- Customer-focused, resourceful, and proactive with a strong sense of initiative.
- Ability to work under general direction in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate needs and respond with urgency.
- Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and skill in developing productive working relationships.
