Position Title: Pharmacy Technician
Work Location: Cary, NC, 27513
Assignment Duration: 3 Months
Work Schedule: M-F 9-6 EST
Work Arrangement: First month onsite for training; hybrid afterward if metrics met (must live within 1 hour of office)

Position Summary:

• Works on assignments that are moderately complex in nature where judgment is required in resolving problems and making routine recommendations.
• Normally receives no instruction on routine work, general instructions on new assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect med lists and drug allergies from patients.
• On phone all day collecting baseline information from patients to get them ready for pharmacist counseling; this includes payment method, shipping address, emergency contacts, etc.
• Triaging calls all day and sending them to the correct departments.

Qualification & Experience:

• Must be licensed in NC and in good standing.
• Must be a certified pharmacy technician.
• Must have 2 to 3 years of related work experience with direct patient care.
• Must live within one hour driving distance of office (11800 Weston Parkway, Cary, NC 27513).
• 2+ years experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
• MUST be a Nationally Board Certified Pharmacy Technician.
