Description:
Senior Project Manager – Forescout Implementation
Position Summary
The Senior Project Manager (PM) is responsible for leading and executing the successful implementation of Forescout within the client’s IT and Security environment. This role requires a strong understanding of cybersecurity, network architecture, and enterprise project management practices. The PM will manage all phases of the project lifecycle, from planning and execution to deployment and transition to operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, timelines, and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Project Leadership & Governance
• Lead the end-to-end implementation of Forescout, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Establish and maintain a project governance structure, defining clear roles, responsibilities, and communication protocols.
• Develop and maintain the project charter, scope, objectives, and success criteria.
• Coordinate with other Technology teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment.
• Project Planning & Execution
• Create and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, dependencies, resource allocations, and deliverables using Smartsheet.
• Maintain ServiceNow project, inclusive of resource allocation and budget burn.
• Oversee project setup and resource assignment in ServiceNow (SNOW) or other project management systems.
• Track progress, manage risks, and proactively identify issues with mitigation strategies.
• Ensure all project artifacts (requirements, designs, test plans, and approvals) are documented and stored appropriately.
• Project Communication & Reporting
• Schedule and facilitate weekly project status meetings with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Document and distribute detailed meeting notes and action items after each meeting.
• Prepare and deliver weekly project status reports summarizing accomplishments, upcoming milestones, risks, and mitigation actions.
• Maintain and update the project’s RACI matrix and communication plan to ensure transparency and accountability.
• Financial & Resource Management
• Monitor and report on project budget, forecasting, and burn rate on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.
• Approve and track resource timesheets and vendor invoices in accordance with organizational policies.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure deliverables meet contractual and quality expectations.
• Quality Assurance & Transition
• Oversee testing, validation, and acceptance of Forescout implementation components.
• Coordinate end-user training, knowledge transfer, and transition to operations support teams.
• Ensure post-implementation reviews are conducted to capture lessons learned and continuous improvement opportunities.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 7+ years of IT project management experience, with at least 3 years in security infrastructure or network security projects.
• Demonstrated experience managing large-scale technology implementations, preferably Forescout or similar NAC (Network Access Control) solutions.
• PMP, CSM, or equivalent project management certification strongly preferred.
• Experience in healthcare environments preferred
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, network segmentation, and endpoint visibility.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with project management tools (ServiceNow, Smartsheet, and the Google suite of tools. Client is not a 0365 shop.
Key Deliverables
• Approved project charter and detailed project plan.
• Weekly status reports and meeting minutes.
• Updated RACI matrix and communication plan.
• Budget tracking and financial reporting.
• Comprehensive implementation documentation.
• Successful transition to operations and project closure report.
