Project Overview:
PAD IZ team is currently looking for a Dev Ops Engineer to help modernize our tech stack by moving our applications into Azure. We are seeking a DevOps Engineer responsible for the analysis, design and development of scalable software solutions across the full secure software development life cycle – from conception to deployment. Candidate should be comfortable with both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks, and third-party libraries with an emphasis on JAVA, Spring Boot, Azure (AKS) and JUnit / Gradle. You will be a key member of a cross functional team following Agile development methodologies.
Contractor’s Role:
A DevOps engineer is needed to bridge software development and IT operations, by automating processes, managing infrastructure, and fostering collaboration to accelerate and improve software delivery and deployment.
Qualifications (must haves):
7+ years’ experience and bachelor’s degree in: Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering/Development, Computer Engineering, Software Design or Network Engineering

Daily Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Implementing CI/CD pipelines, using Infrastructure as Code
- Monitoring performance, resolving production issues, and ensuring system reliability and security
- Essential skills encompass coding, cloud platforms, Dev Ops Tools, and methodologies, and strong interpersonal communication to break down silos between teams
- Create and maintain automated processes for code deployment, testing, and release management using tools like CI/CD pipelines
- Provision, configure, and maintain cloud infrastructure and systems using (IaC) principles
- Monitor system performance, identify and resolve production issues, perform root cause analysis, and optimize the entire software delivery pipeline
- Act as a liaison between development and operations teams, promoting a shared culture and efficient communication
- Integrate security throughout the development lifecycle and secure software to prevent breaches and vulnerabilities.
- Ensure that software releases meet quality standards and work to improve customer experience.
