Technical Program Manager III
12 months 
On-site Preferred in Sunnyvale, CA, but open to PST Remote


Client is seeking a highly skilled Technical Program Manager for a temporary assignment supporting our hardware programs. This role is based in Sunnyvale, CA, with remote work options available within the PST time zone. As a contingent worker, you will play a key role in driving program execution from concept through mass production, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative consumer electronics products.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage hardware programs at both system and module levels, ensuring successful delivery from concept to mass production.
  • Drive requirements gathering, development flow, and execution for consumer electronics products.
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and cross-functional teams, including partners in Mainland China.
  • Identify and resolve program risks and issues, implementing solutions for continuous improvement.
  • Build strong relationships and foster collaboration across multiple teams.
  • Operate autonomously, managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience as an engineering or technical program manager, with a focus on hardware programs.
  • Hands-on program management experience at both system and module levels, especially in Mainland China.
  • Experience with requirements and development flow for consumer electronics products.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously across multiple teams.

  • Former client experience
  • Ability to speak and write Chinese
  • Change management and lifecycle management (PLM)
