Title: Program Manager V/ Vendor Operations Lead
Location: Remote- US, PST preferred
Duration: 6 Months
Summary:
Seeking a skilled Vendor Operations Lead to drive and scale operational capabilities. This role oversees vendor relationships, optimizes vendor-led processes, and ensures efficient delivery of products and services across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships as the primary point of contact.
- Monitor vendor performance, conduct regular evaluations, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Set up and track vendor metrics and performance dashboards.
- Develop strategies to expand and integrate new processes into the scaled operations model across the Sales organization.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to establish an effective scaled operations framework.
- Prepare for and establish new support requirements between the organization and vendor partners.
- Identify and implement efficiency improvements, including automation opportunities.
- Provide regular leadership updates on vendor performance, capacity, program changes, application health, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Partner with adjacent teams to build expanded scaled operations capabilities.
- Troubleshoot operational challenges, optimize workflows, and uphold high quality standards.
- Lead vendor selection processes and negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in vendor management or a similar operational role.
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and vendor management tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects concurrently.
Must-have Skills:
- Experience managing a portfolio of application support.
- Experience working with multiple vendors to improve operational efficiency.
- Proven ability to drive strategy for the support organization, introducing innovation and continuous improvements.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience with financial reporting and budget management.
- Familiarity with data analysis and AI-enhanced business intelligence tools.
- Project management experience.
