The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in mechanical engineering, with experience in both prototype and production-level designs. This role requires expertise in 3D and 2D mechanical design, schematic creation, and related analysis.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3D and 2D mechanical designs for aerospace wire harnesses (flight and test systems).
- Create and review detailed schematics and technical documentation.
- Perform design analyses to ensure compliance with system and performance requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, manufacturing, and systems engineering.
- Utilize project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) to track design progress and deliverables.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in ECAD software for 3D modeling, 2D drafting, and schematic creation.
- Hands-on experience designing wire harnesses for aerospace systems (test or flight).
- Excellent communication and technical writing skills.
- Experience with engineering project management tools such as JIRA or Confluence (Agile environment).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Siemens Teamcenter for Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
- Proficiency in Siemens NX and Siemens Capital for 3D modeling and 2D drafting.
