Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer V with a minimum of 7+ years of industry experience to support large-scale, mission-critical network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in IP networking, routing protocols, and troubleshooting complex network systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, high-performance network solutions.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for complex network issues.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure network reliability, security, and performance.
- Support operational readiness, monitoring, and capacity planning efforts.
- Contribute to network documentation, standards, and best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in IP networking fundamentals and protocol applications.
- Expert-level knowledge of major Internet routing protocols, including BGP and OSPF.
- Deep familiarity with Cisco router platforms: 37xx, 49xx, 65xx, 73xx, and 76xx, including relevant supervisory and line cards.
- Strong network analysis and troubleshooting skills.
- Practical experience with a broad range of protocols and technologies, including:
- DWDM, T1/DS1, DS3, SONET (OC3, OC48)
- Ethernet (802.2/3), VLANs/STP (802.1d)
- IPv4, IPv6, TCP (internals & flow control)
- BGP, OSPF, HSRP/GLBP, PIMv2, IGMP, LDP
- TACACS, IPSEC, VPNs, NetFlow, DNS, HTTP
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
- Cisco certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE) are strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership and drive projects independently.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

- Advanced networking expertise (BGP, OSPF, Cisco platforms)
- Deep understanding of network operations and troubleshooting
