Job Title: Financial Analyst
Location: Seattle, WA 98134
Duration: 8+ months Assignment
Work Model: Hybrid, flexible on the number of days onsite
Shift/Hours: 40hours/week, M to F
 
Summary:

• Ensures that departmental standard operating procedures are accurate, thorough and updated.
• Identifies and implements key performance metrics and processes.
• Identifies and implements opportunities to automate and streamline accounting processes.
• Provides analysis and leadership in defining, designing, testing and documenting proposed changes.
• Provides management with information on general ledger account status, resolves issues and recommends solutions.
• Serves as the subject matter expert on cross functional teams tasked with the design and implementation of enterprise initiatives that impact accounting processes.
• Trains accounting partners on system and process changes. Provides ongoing support to process owners.

 Daily Responsibilities:

• Monthly dashboard.
• Data cleansing.
• Working with source files.
• Data validation that’s entered into salesforces.
• Assisting with closing, reconciliation if time allows.

 Technology requirements:

• Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong Excel must be proficient.
• Bachelor’s degree required, preference for finance or accounting. 

Required Background & Skills:

• 2+ years of experience is required.
• Detail oriented.
• Ability to follow instructions and guides as needed.
• Ability to triage and troubleshoot as needed.
• Problem solving.
• Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication (written, verbal).
• Finance or accounting background

 Nice-to-Haves:

• Open to automation.
• Alteryx.
• PowerBI.
• Familiarity with process improvement.
• Previous client exp in accounting or finance team.
