Job Title: DevOps Release Engineer
Location: Remote
Duration: 6 Months (Possible Extension)Job Description:
The DevOps Release Engineer will be responsible for managing and coordinating release activities in a DevOps environment using an agile approach. This role requires expertise in metadata management across Salesforce environments, CI/CD pipelines, version control, and release sequencing.Mandatory Requirements:

• University Degree in Information Technology or equivalent combination of training and work experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Release Engineer in a DevOps team environment using an agile approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage metadata across Salesforce environments.
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Bitbucket Pipelines.
• Apply branching strategies, version control, and release sequencing best practices.
• Coordinate activities across development, QA, staging, and production environments.
• Ensure consistency of data, configurations, and code across sandboxes.
• Use Git (or similar tools) to manage code branches, pull requests, and merges.
• Support multi-developer workflows and enforce best practices.
• Coordinate release windows, blackout periods, and stakeholder communications.
• Ensure successful and repeatable deployments with minimal disruption.
• Work closely with Developers, QA, and Scrum Masters to troubleshoot deployment issues.
