As one of the region’s leading electrical contractors, we take on high-impact commercial projects that shape skylines and communities. We’re seeking a seasoned Electrical Project Manager to develop, lead, and deliver our most ambitious builds.
The Opportunity:
We are looking for a proactive, strategic thinker with a passion for building complex projects the right way. You’ll serve as the driving force behind successful project execution—controlling costs, managing risk, and ensuring timelines and materials are aligned with client expectations.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and manage electrical construction projects from pre-construction through close-out, each valued at $5 million or more.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
- Coordinate and order all necessary materials, ensuring just-in-time delivery and minimizing delays.
- Collaborate with field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Proactively handle change orders—negotiating, documenting, and executing in accordance with project goals and contracts.
- Monitor job progress, enforce safety protocols, and maintain adherence to project specs and local codes.
- Lead project meetings, generate reports, and provide clear communication to stakeholders at all levels.
What You Bring:
- 5+ years of experience in electrical project management with direct oversight of projects exceeding $5 million.
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects concurrently.
- Deep understanding of electrical systems, construction processes, and codes.
- Expertise in risk management, change order negotiation, and material procurement.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with a team-first mindset.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
