Job Title: Safety Device Associate/ Consumer Device Engineer I

Overview:
The Safety Device Associate will support the client in driving safety initiatives throughout the product development process. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and suppliers to manage safety certification test plans, schedules, and reviews for consumer electronic devices.

Overview:
The Safety Device Associate will support the client in driving safety initiatives throughout the product development process. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and suppliers to manage safety certification test plans, schedules, and reviews for consumer electronic devices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand safety certification test plans, schedules, and safety review processes.
- Partner with cross-functional teams and suppliers to manage safety test allocations, prototype preparation, delivery coordination, and testing schedules during product development.
- Develop and implement tools, processes, and procedures to streamline workflows and improve access to safety information for SMEs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to integrate safety practices into all operations.
- Stay current on industry best practices, standards, and evolving safety regulations.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with the safety engineering team and cross-functional partners.
- Prioritize multiple programs and issues effectively to meet project timelines in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Sciences, or a related field.
- 5+ years of project management experience in a corporate setting.
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects and prioritize effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to create and implement solutions.
- Collaborative team player with strong communication and organizational skills.
- Experience in the consumer electronics industry.
- Basic knowledge of safety review and processes.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Strong and effective communication skills.
