Position Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
Work Location: Adair, Iowa, USA
Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
Work Schedule: 12HR: 7p-7a weekends and holidays as assigned

Position Summary: Inpatient substance abuse treatment facility for 18+ ages.
Background & Context:

• Beds: 50 (20 female/30 male)

• Nurse/Patient ratio: 1 nurse on night shift; For the 7p-11p of the shift there are 2-3 BHA (techs) on shift. 11p-7 there is 1 tech on shift.
• EMR: HCS - electronic
• Dress Code: Scrubs
• Additional Information: Voluntary patients, no restraints, Admin on call and Doctor on call at all times, no on-site security. Visiting hours are Sundays 1-4p. Orientation is 2-3 days of 12 hour shifts training until comfortable.
  
  Key Responsibilities:
• Must be able to do CIWA/COWS, UAs and be able to set/hold firm empathic boundaries
  
  Qualification & Experience:
• Required Certifications: BLS and CPI
• Required Experience: 12 months of prior experience in an inpatient rehab setting with COWS and CIWAS
• Preferred experience: Psych exp
