Job Description
- This contractor will schedule site surveys and installations related to IMACs (Internal Moves, Adds, Changes) for one-off requests, coordinating with the Field Services team to ensure timely execution.
- Request types may include onboarding tasks, user moves, device reimages, installation of peripheral equipment and display monitors, deployment of mobility devices, support for break/fix incidents, and cabling requests.
- Core responsibilities include managing all logistics related to sourcing and delivering equipment to meet station needs, as well as maintaining accurate, descriptive tracking of all tagged assets on time.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Solid troubleshooting abilities and a proactive mindset
- Customer service experience with a focus on clear, professional interaction
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
- General technical aptitude — ability to distinguish between common laptop models and peripheral equipment
- Prior experience coordinating or supporting IT-related tasks (IMACs, hardware deployment, etc.) is a plus, but is not required
Other Requirements:
- Must be able to travel locally between our three locations: Mount Prospect, Arlington Heights, and Chicago
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
