Job Description

Job Title: IT Support Analyst
Location: San Diego, CA (Onsite)
Duration: 3 months
Shift Hrs: 8AM - 5PM /Mon-Fri

Required Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting computing devices, Windows operating systems, network technologies, printers, and Microsoft software applications.
  • Ability to provide support across multiple environments (desktop, client-server, browser-based, etc.). 
Education & Experience
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 6+ months of experience in IT or related area.
    • Minimum 6+ months of experience in operating system or software troubleshooting (e.g., root cause analysis, debugging). 
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  • Follow established standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Provide first-level technical support for products, applications, and devices.
  • Support troubleshooting efforts and help identify routine problems.
  • Document incidents, service requests, and resolutions in ticketing systems.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate teams or vendors.
  • Assist with processing incoming requests and maintaining knowledge repositories.
  • Support achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs) for system performance and availability.
  • Seek training opportunities and apply feedback to improve skills.
  • Perform routine technical tasks under guidance of senior personnel.
  • Manage time, prioritize tasks, and handle minor setbacks effectively. 
Level of Responsibility
  • Works under close supervision.
  • Takes responsibility for assigned work with limited decision-making scope.
  • Uses clear written and verbal communication to share information with knowledgeable peers.
  • Follows step-by-step instructions or manuals to complete multi-step processes.
  • Performs basic troubleshooting and applies limited problem-solving skills.
  • Exercises some creativity in addressing technical issues or unfamiliar situations. 
Physical Requirements
  • Push: Up to 80 lbs
  • Pull: Up to 100 lbs
  • Lift: Up to 50 lbs
Driving Requirements
  • May involve minimal driving using a rental, company, or personal vehicle.
  • Candidates must comply with all reimbursement policies for out-of-pocket expenses.
