Job Title: AI Developer
Location: Remote/Hybrid- SF Bay Area

Job Summary:
We seek an innovative and skilled AI Developer to join our team in building next-generation intelligent applications. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with large language models (LLMs) like those from OpenAI, strong Python development skills, expertise in AWS cloud services (especially SageMaker), and a foundational understanding of SAP Business AI. You will work on designing, integrating, and deploying AI-powered solutions that enhance enterprise business processes and user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop AI applications integrating OpenAI GPT models (or equivalent LLMs) via secure, scalable APIs using MCP infrastructure.
• Build Python-based backend services for data processing, model invocation, and API exposure to downstream applications
• Design, implement, and maintain AWS deployment pipelines to enable reliable, automated, and scalable application delivery
• Implement and deploy custom machine learning models with Amazon SageMaker, including tasks such as training, tuning, and managing inference pipelines.
• Design and develop MCP servers/clients or MCP enabled functions to facilitate connections between AI models, various data sources, APIs, and business systems.
• Collaborate with product owners, data engineers, and SAP developers to deliver features that meet business requirements.
• Adhere to MLOps best practices, including version control, CI/CD pipelines, and model observability.
• Support AI use case discovery and feasibility assessments, particularly in generative AI and enterprise process automation contexts.

 
Required Skills & Experience:

• Min 3+ years of relevant experience in implementing AI solutions using Python and TypeScript development, including good exposure in frameworks like Flask and FastAPI.
• Skilled in integrating OpenAI APIs (e.g., ChatGPT, GPT-4) and other large language model platforms.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services: SageMaker (model training, deployment, endpoints), Lambda, S3, API Gateway, IAM, and security policy management.
• Experience in Cloud Formation Scripts, Serverless Frameworks etc. for build & deployment.
• Solid understanding of machine learning workflows, including model evaluation, tuning, and feature engineering.
• Familiar with vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques.
• Experience developing document processing systems, chatbots, and recommendation engines for enterprise use.
• Proficient in Git and collaborative software development practices.
• Knowledgeable in prompt engineering, LLM limitations, and safe deployment practices.
• Strong problem-solving and research skills
• Excellent communicator and collaborative team player, with experience working effectively across culturally and geographically diverse teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with or exposure to SAP Business AI, SAP Joule, or SAP AI Core & Launchpad.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA data models or SAP Fiori applications.

• Skilled in communicating and collaborating with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Demonstrates initiative and interest in working with new AI technologies.

Education:

• Bachelor’s or master’s in computer science, Data Science, AI, or a related field.
