Job Description

Job Title: Product Owner – HRIS Integration Platform
Location: Philadelphia, PA (Hybrid)

Duration: 9 months
 
Position Summary:
We are seeking a technically fluent Product Owner to lead the implementation of our HRIS Integration Platform. This role works closely with IT Product Managers, Architects, Engineering leads, and Business stakeholders to translate strategic goals into actionable workstreams, ensuring integration capabilities align with enterprise priorities, technical feasibility, and data governance standards.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Refine and execute product vision through actionable backlog items
  • Author and manage detailed user stories for APIs and streaming workflows
  • Ensure technical feasibility and alignment with platform architecture and data lineage
  • Document data lineage for traceability and compliance
  • Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, and demos
  • Coordinate cross-team dependencies across Agile Release Trains (ARTs)
  • Partner with vendors and internal teams for onboarding and integrations
  • Participate in release activities as needed
 
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in product ownership or enterprise application integration
  • Experience writing technical stories for Java-based APIs, Kafka streaming, and data transformation pipelines
  • Strong understanding of data lineage across ingestion, transformation, and consumption layers
  • Experience in Agile delivery environments
  • Familiarity with HRIS platforms (Workday, ADP, Alight)
  • Experience with cloud-native environments (AWS, Azure) and platforms like Fineos
