Title: Head of Growth Marketing
Team: 5 full-time marketers + agency support (2 contractors)
Location: Remote (U.S. or Canada)
Start Date: ASAP – target hire by November
Work Hours: Aligns with EST (flexible for West Coast)
 
Company Overview
The client is a fast-growing, Series A 3D design startup redefining the future of interactive, real-time, and collaborative design. They’ve amassed over 4M designers using the product, including teams from Fortune 100 companies, and are now shifting from product-led growth to an enterprise-focused GTM motion.
 
Role Overview
The Head of Growth Marketing will drive global B2B expansion by owning demand generation, performance, and brand strategy — a player-coach role in a small, fast-paced environment (25 employees across 14 countries).
 
Core Responsibilities
  • Lead omni-channel marketing: organic, paid, SEO, product marketing, content, events, and brand.
  • Build and scale a demand generation engine for enterprise pipeline growth.
  • Optimize acquisition funnels, MQL/SQL conversion, and ROI tracking.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Growth to unify attribution, messaging, and customer journey analytics.
  • Implement a stronger analytics layer (tools like Segment, Amplitude, HubSpot/Marketo).
  • Evolve Client’s organic community growth into structured enterprise acquisition strategies.
 
Current Marketing Stack
  • Analytics: Google Analytics, Amplitude
  • Email: MailJet, Spritnel, Mailgun
  • Performance Tracking: Metrocool
  • Goal: Implement a cohesive analytics and attribution framework (potentially Segment)
  • Agency: Paid acquisition agency in Bay Area
  • Organic: 14 social channels (large organic presence)
 
90–180 Day Priorities
  1. Build a demand gen engine and establish a clear pipeline attribution model.
  2. Prove out channel effectiveness and ROI (paid vs. organic).
  3. Develop case studies and enterprise marketing materials.
  4. Strengthen the marketing tech stack to unify performance tracking.
  5. Lead and scale the marketing function with potential to add 1–2 hires within 6 months.
 
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • B2B SaaS growth leader experienced in enterprise expansion.
  • Comfortable in early-stage, lean environments (“comfort with chaos”).
  • Skilled across multiple marketing channels (not just demand gen or brand).
  • Hands-on: able to run tests, optimize campaigns, and build the playbook from scratch.
  • Background in design, creative, or developer-facing software strongly preferred.
  • Strategic storyteller who can balance creative and analytical execution.
  • Experience with Sigma, Adobe, Miro, or similar companies ideal.
  • Not looking for someone too senior or too specialized (too demand-gen or too brand-focused). Need a diversified, hands-on growth leader comfortable running campaigns while shaping overall GTM strategy.
  • Looking for someone hungry, adaptable, and data-driven.
