Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist IV
Location: Houston Energy Center Five, Houston, TX
Duration: 12 months
Telework Type: On-site
Job Summary:
Responsible for all activities involving quality assurance and compliance for solar farm construction projects. Conduct audits, inspections, and data analysis to ensure adherence to company standards and regulatory requirements. Support projects from installation through commissioning.
Major Responsibilities:

Perform quality assurance for solar farm construction, including civil works, pile installation, and panel installation.

Conduct audits, inspections, and documentation reviews to ensure compliance with QA/QC standards.

Identify issues and implement corrective actions through root cause analysis and supplier coordination.

Collaborate with engineering, construction, and operations teams to maintain quality and safety standards.

Support commissioning activities and verify completion of all QA/QC documentation.

Lead or assist in mentoring junior quality professionals and site inspectors.
Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).

5–10 years of experience in quality assurance for solar construction or renewable energy projects.
Required Knowledge and Skills:

Strong understanding of quality assurance processes and regulatory standards.

Experience with solar project installation and QA/QC procedures.

Excellent communication, reporting, and collaboration skills.

Ability to travel up to 50% to field sites.
