Job Description
Position Title: Business Analyst
Duration: 12 months with possibility of extension
Location: FCP, Toronto
Work Model: Hybrid – 2-4 days in office - Tuesday, Wednesday
Hours of Operation: 9am-5pm EST Mon-Fri
Job Responsibilities:
• Establish and maintain communication services across business units or from the project team to the organization.
• Maintain the storage and retrieval of all project communications data and business metrics.
• Review contracts, cost proposals and contract supplements.
• Set up project and work breakdown structures.
• Establish and document business processes.
• Track project budgets and expenditures, monitor transaction controls and costs against budgets.
• Producing various reports combining several data sets for internal stakeholders
• Refining processes and reports related to web traffic results, and tracking agent deployment
• Automating various processes related to file movements, email bots, and data normalization
Must Have Requirements:
• Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
• Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
• Ability to apply accounting and mathematical principles to work as needed.
• Ability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses.
• Previous experience with computer applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• 1-2 years - experience with Power Automate, Power BI, database queries, and business requirement documentation
Nice To Haves:
- Python
- Market Data knowledge
- Previous FI experience
- AI query prompting
Education/Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in business management, economics, finance, computer science or relevant field required.
• 2-5 years related experience required.
Interview:
- 2 rounds
- 1st round - virtual via MS Teams - 30-45 minutes
- 2nd round - ONSITE @ FCP 30-45 minutes
