Job Description: 

We are seeking a well-rounded, highly motivated engineer who is either an experienced Project Manager or ready to step into that role to join our growing Structural Group. Our team is expanding, and we’re looking for a forward-thinking engineer who is eager to learn, grow, and take on diverse challenges. The work is hands-on and spans a wide range of structural, civil, marine, and amusement engineering design projects—from proposal preparation and evaluations to final design and construction support services. Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Prepare engineering designs and/or technical data.
• Perform and oversee the work and productivity on assigned projects.
• Manage the preparation of construction documents (drawings, specifications, estimates, etc.).
• Perform structural inspections and prepare reports, letters, and other documentation.
• Coordinate with clients.
• Must be an effective communicator with the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Participate in formulating and coordinating proposals and provide other marketing support, including business development activities.
• Prepare effective work plans and man-hour budgets.
• Monitor time schedules and capital cost budgets on projects.
• Strive to achieve predetermined goals for profit, productivity targets, and scheduled deliverables.

Qualifications: 

• A Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering is required.
• 2+ years of structural engineering experience is required.
• Good working knowledge of steel, concrete, timber design, and familiarity with applicable codes (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC, etc.).
• Competent or proficient in AutoCAD.
• Proficient with structural design software (STAAD, Enercalc, etc.)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary to effectively communicate with clients and employees.

Nice to Have: Professional engineer (PE) license.
