Title: R&D Operations Manager
Duration: 14+ Months
Location: Remote
Summary:
You will contribute to the execution of the functional strategy within the company’s clinical biomarker portfolio, with a focus on driving supplier management initiatives and identifying opportunities to improve processes and tools. You will be a creative problem solver who delivers meaningful results that enhance productivity and efficiency. Key responsibilities include supporting procurement activities and ensuring operational excellence in vendor engagement. This role is accountable for planning, coordinating, and executing project management and operational activities to advance the company’s biomarker strategies. This role ensures alignment across projects, oversees assay development and implementation, and serves as the primary operational contact for biomarker activities.

Basic Qualifications:
- PhD and/or Master’s degree and 2 years of relevant PM experience OR
- Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of relevant PM experience OR
- Associate’s degree and 6 years of relevant PM experience
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Manage the contract to pay cycle in collaboration with functional leads
- Coordinate the generation of quotes and request purchase orders for key suppliers
- Manage external suppliers through recurring weekly or bi-weekly meetings to track the progress of ongoing work and deliverables
- Develop and maintain supplier Key Performance Indicators, monitor metrics and escalate issues appropriately
- Ensure adherence to corporate procurement guidelines; manage the contract to pay process in collaboration with Global Business Transaction Center
- Follow fit for purpose support model with the functions to ensure smooth execution of contracted deliverable
- Develop and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholder to support and proactively respond to business needs
- Use and familiarity with a variety of tools such as SharePoint, document management systems, planning systems
