Job Title: Project/Program Coordinator
Location: New York , NY
Duration : 15 Months
Work schedule: M – F (9am -5pm EST)
Travel: Up to 90% travel (site-to-site within the U.S. East Coast or Central U.S.).

The Project/Program Coordinator is responsible for managing, coordinating, and driving the successful completion of projects or programs. This role involves setting deadlines, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and preparing detailed status reports for senior management. The position requires strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work across teams and guide project success.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee all aspects of assigned projects/programs.
- Define project timelines, set deadlines, and assign responsibilities to team members.
- Monitor and track project progress to ensure milestones and deliverables are met.
- Prepare and present progress reports, status updates, and performance metrics to upper management.
- Lead and direct the work of project teams, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Apply creativity and sound judgment to solve challenges and achieve project objectives.
- Perform a variety of tasks related to project/program execution as needed.
- Travel: Up to 90% travel (site-to-site within the U.S. East Coast or Central U.S.).
- Reduced travel (~25%) during mid-November to January.
- Stakeholder Management: Ability to work with multiple stakeholders across various departments.
- Leadership: Capable of leading a team when required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required (or equivalent experience).
- 4–7 years of relevant experience in project/program management or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of project management concepts, practices, and methodologies.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with start-ups (highest preference).
- Industry exposure in engineering, supply chain, or business domains.
- Certification: PMP certification strongly preferred.
