Job Title: Data & Logistics Analyst 
Location: Irwindale, CA 91706 (Fully Onsite)
Duration: 18 months
Shift: M – F, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Hours: 20 - 30 hours/week
 
Education Requirement

• Associate’s Degree (Bachelor’s preferred)

 
Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Collect, consolidate, and analyze data related to trucking operations, contract carriers, and material movement.
• Develop and maintain reports using Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, and advanced functions).
• Pull and evaluate data from Samsara and SAP to track truck frequencies, equipment utilization, and material delivery volumes.
• Support implementation of Proof of Delivery solutions for mailing service drivers; lead small-scale projects as needed.
• Provide actionable recommendations to improve efficiency, cost savings, and resource utilization.
• Perform ad hoc analyses and reporting to meet business needs.
• Complete administrative tasks to support category management and trucking operations.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy and clarity of reporting and deliverables.

 
Required Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP required).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently.

 
Preferred Skills

• Experience with transportation or logistics data.
• Familiarity with Samsara and SAP systems.
